customized meal plans
During your initial visit we will create a customized meal plan for you. This plan guides you on what, when and how much to eat as you experience safe, fast and sustainable weight loss. PHD provides up to 80% of your food at no additional cost, should you choose to use it. Or we will guide you as you use 100% of your own foods. We provide dining out guides, take out guides, grocery shopping lists, everything you need to be successful! We make the process of dropping weight as easy as possible.

Weekly one on one coaching
Weekly, you will participate in one on one coaching, support and accountability sessions with our PHD team including a nutritionist, dietitian, or expert coach. During these sessions we review your weekly meal plan, continue to tweak your diet so that you experience continued success, provide nutrition education, and focus on habit/behavior change to create long-term results.

a holistic approach
PHD provides a holistic approach with behavioral support, since we believe a majority of any life change comes from the mind. We tackle the mental, emotional, habits and behaviors associated with letting go of excess weight. We understand that dropping weight for good is an addiction recovery process for some people.

Elevated Maintenance Support
Letting go of your excess fat-weight is one thing, but maintaining it for the long-term requires consistent and continuous support. We understand this, thus once you achieve your optimal weight by dropping the unnecessary fat-weight, you are eligible* for the best part of PHD which is our elevated maintenance program & PHD Alumni Community. Lean on us as your long-term resource and support for all things nutrition and weight loss related.
*Eligibility in our elevated maintenance program & PHD Alumni Community is subject to being within the “maintenance range,” which is dependent on each individual’s body size and biological sex, but typically involves maintaining normal body fat percentages according to body composition scales. Participation is encouraged, optional and available with eligibility at a significantly reduced rate for all.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
No, we do not work directly with Insurance companies. We encourage clients to reach out to their insurance providers to see if any options may be available to them. However, we do offer financing options. Talk to one of our Nutritionists during your consultation call.
Will my $25 consultation fee be applied to my program?
No, your initial $25 is the cost of the initial consultation appointment with our senior health coach and is not applied to the program investment.
What is your program structure like? Do I have to go every week?
We ask all of our clients to commit to weekly weigh-ins and one-on-one coaching sessions either in person at our Asheville, Charlotte, Greenville or Lake Norman locations or over the phone with your nationwide coach. We do this to create accountability, monitor how your progress is going and adjust your program if need be.
What is the program cost?
We do not have a baseline as our programs are customized to each individual client. Your investment options will be created and presented to you during your initial consultation
Do you offer financing?
Yes, the great news is we DO accept care credit.
We have so many payment options! I always suggest the pay in full and
point out that care credit allows them to pay in full while making monthly payments
with no interest so that they are fully committed to reaching their goals and
entering into maintenance.
Do you provide food for the program?
We would not be sending you meals, per say, but more so the protein that you will need for your meals! We supply approx. 85% of your daily food intake. That will come in the form of powder based protein. We have lots of variety in the types as well as textures!
